Introduction
Over the past year, we worked with Onify Tech, engaging them to build a website and integrate critical inventory systems for our retail operations.
The project did not reach a functional or launch-ready state.
We have documented our full experience here: https://dank.ca/onify-tech-thailand-review-our-experience/
Since publishing our findings, we identified that Onify Tech is connected to InFocus Group Holdings (ASX: IFG), a publicly traded company in Australia.
This introduces broader considerations around accountability, oversight, and responsibility.
Who Is InFocus Group Holdings (ASX: IFG)?
InFocus Group Holdings Limited (ASX: IFG) is a publicly listed company operating multiple entities across different regions.
Registered office:
Level 2/100 James St
Northbridge WA 6003
Australia
As a listed entity, InFocus Group presents to investors that it operates with:
- Corporate governance frameworks
- Oversight of subsidiary operations
- Risk management and escalation processes
- Accountability across group entities
For clients engaging with affiliated companies, these expectations are relevant.
How Onify Tech Connects to InFocus Group
Onify Tech operates within or alongside entities connected to InFocus Group Holdings.
For most clients, this structure is not immediately clear.
In practice, this means:
- Engagement is not isolated to a single team
- There is an expectation of group-level oversight
- Escalation should extend beyond the immediate delivery team
Based on our experience, this distinction is important.
Our Experience with Onify Tech
In our case:
- Core functionality did not work despite repeated assurances
- Issues required independent verification on our end
- QA processes did not identify critical failures
- Multiple launch timelines were missed
We escalated issues repeatedly and included leadership-level contacts in communications, including InFocus Group Holdings and its CEO, Ken Tovich, who had visibility into the matter, however the issues remained unresolved.
A Pattern Beyond a Single Project
Since publishing our experience, we have been contacted by:
- Other Onify Tech clients reporting similar issues
- Individuals formerly associated with the company who shared their perspectives
These accounts are currently being reviewed and documented.
While our published content reflects only our direct experience, this outreach suggests the issues may not be isolated.
Additional updates will follow.
Recent Developments
We have recently received indications that the Onify brand is in the process of being discontinued, with its operations transitioning under other entities such as Prodigy9 and InFocus Group Holdings.
These developments are still being verified.
If confirmed, this raises questions regarding:
- Continuity for existing clients
- Responsibility for unresolved projects
- Handling of obligations during internal restructuring
Why This Matters
When a company operates under a publicly listed group, there is an expectation that:
- Client issues are escalated appropriately
- Delivery failures are addressed at the appropriate level
- Accountability is maintained across entities
- Responsibilities are not affected by internal restructuring
In our case, despite escalation and extended engagement, resolution has not been achieved.
This raises questions around how oversight and accountability are applied in practice.
What Happens Next
We will continue to:
- Publish additional findings
- Share supporting materials, including recorded sessions
- Provide updates as new information is verified
- Expand coverage where appropriate

This is not an isolated project issue.
It raises broader questions about:
- how InFocus Group Holdings (ASX: IFG) operates across its entities
- how accountability is maintained at the group level
- how client issues are escalated and resolved within the organization
We will continue updating this page as more information becomes available.
